I am a 28 year old, and have wanted to get my pilots license since as long as I can remember. I did not grow up in a wealthy family, and am now finally financially secure in my life and am able to save up money to start flight training and already have about $5k set aside for it. My only concern is I suffer from Ocular Migraine Headaches sporadically. Sometimes I go a year or more without having one, and sometimes I have a couple a month. For those who aren't familiar with the aura stage of an ocular migraine, these google image results are a good reference for the blotches that appear in my vision. These blotches in my vision are the first sign that a migraine is on it's way, and they partially block my vision in the same spot of my peripheral vision in the same spot in both eyes. The aura stage usually lasts for 15-30 minutes, and fade away before the headache stage starts. My question is, is there anyone on this sub who has a license, and suffers from ocular migraines? Does anyone know if this would be grounds for disqualifying me from passing a medical?
