Hey guys! So I'm currently a high school senior in Chicago who's about to graduate this upcoming May. The only issue is that my parents want to (its like an 88% ish chance plan) move to California, somewhere around Orange County. Because of this I'm in quite the dilemma because I've already applied to multiple unis here and was planning to go to UIC since it's more affordable. But because of my parent's last minute planning I now have to find a college to go to in CA just in case and I would've tried to apply to CSULA or CSULB if it weren't for the fact that they've seemingly already closed off applications and I did not include them in my FAFSA. so my next best thing is to go to a CC in Orange for 2 years then transfer and it seems like OCC might be a pretty good choice. However, would it be too late to apply for a CC now and what would I do with the whole FAFSA situation for it? If anyone can tell me what they think and recommend, I would so highly appreciate it because I don't know what I'm doing anymore tbh.
